Mother of Finance was born from a simple but powerful belief: that Canada's auto financing system was failing its most vulnerable communities. Newcomers, credit-rebuilders, working families who just needed a reliable vehicle — too often handed predatory rates or denied altogether.

Debbie Westland saw this injustice and decided to do something about it. A tireless advocate with deep roots in Alberta's automotive industry, Debbie co-founded Mother of Finance with one mission: to be the Finance Manager Group that actually fights for clients — not just processes them.

She partnered with Haroun Fila, a finance veteran with over 18 years across Quebec and Alberta's top dealerships — Chrysler, Ford, Audi, Volvo, Infiniti, Volkswagen, GM, Cadillac and Hyundai. Together, they built something genuinely different: a special finance operation grounded in community, respect, and real results.

In December 2023, Debbie Westland passed away.

Her loss was felt deeply by everyone she had helped. But her legacy did not end. Haroun Fila committed to carrying her vision forward — ensuring every client receives the same dignity, honesty, and tenacity that Debbie built this company on.

Today, Mother of Finance operates in partnership with Rocky Mountain Dodge, serving communities across Alberta under the Alpina AI Auto Finance and GetGari.ca brands. The name has evolved. The mission has not.

Automotive Finance Experience
You know how to structure a deal, read a credit bureau, handle objections, and communicate with lenders. Experience in F&I is ideal.

A Solid Referral Network
This is the most important thing. Do you have a community, cultural group, congregation, former customer base, or social media following that trusts you? That network is your business here.

This is a performance-based role. You own your schedule, your pipeline and your results. We support you — but you drive it.
